Oh, boy, we’re BUSY the next few weeks—
Saturday, December 7th! We’re tabling at the Arts & Crafts Fair of the Mt. Baker Home Tour — tickets for the home tour are a major fundraiser for the Mt. Baker Community Center, although the art fair in the Clubhouse is completely free to attend & peruse! (10 am to 4 pm)
Friday, December 13th! The School of Visual Concepts is having a FREE talk & poetry reading by their current artist-in-residence, Claudia Castro Luna—she’ll be discussing her letterpress printed artist’s book One River, a Thousand Voices:
There will ALSO be a letterpress pop-up shop! We & several other local letterpress printers will have tables there. Again, the event itself is free! But please do RSVP for a chair at the reading. (6 pm – 9 pm)
Saturday, December 14th! Our studio-mate Darius X and his Linocut Night School friends are doing a pop-up sale here in the shop! Come out and support local queer printmakers, see & buy their work!!
Also, there’ll be a make your own print station, and snacks & drinks. (12 pm – 6 pm)
Sunday, December 15th! The 8th Annual Mercatini di Natale pop-up sale—local artists & artisans in Beacon Hill’s FABULOUS pizzeria & Italian restaurant, Bar Del Corso.
(12 pm – 4 pm)
Woof! Listen, if you can’t keep track of all that, same. Just wander around the city the next two weeks, you’ll probably trip over us eventually.
